Lcs-sk19 Owner's Thread 👇🏾 please post helpful information &tips

Hello Just cleaned my barrel today for the 1st time today ( had it since December but was scared I'd mess something up) well every thing worked to well in the end (took time getting there) just put blue painters tape on barrel and receiver and a pen mark and lined them up. All worked good till I put the shroud back on. MAKE SURE you tight the 2 receiver screws so the barrel does not move, I did not and when I screwed on the shroud I tightened the barrel to the magazine not allowing the magazine to turn. Easy fix (just backed out barrel a bit and retightened the screws) but just sharing my experience to prevent others the same problem. Hope tis helps Eric

Esingle, that exact same thing happened to me and the gun would not function. The magazine not rotating freely forced a pellet to get stuck in the magazine/barrel half broken and all the air leaked out of the gun. I ended up able to fix it myself but I was worried I was going to have to send the gun back to AOA. Make sure when you’re tightening the shroud that the barrel doesn’t tighten up with it.

My shroud was glued on with about 1/4 cup of loctite. It took a lot of wire-wheel time to get those threads clean! If you try to put the shroud back on over the loctite (assuming yours is as bad as mine was) it will take a lot of force and likely move the barrel. With clean threads you can tighten the shroud down without much risk of moving anything.

Great accurate semi/full auto but the trigger and the ergonomics suck compared to other semi autos. I could go on but decided not to.

I personally have zero issues with the trigger in terms of affecting my ability to shoot accurately once I’ve become accustomed to it.

The biggest turn off to the gun for me in a hunting situation and as a right hand shooter is the safety placement and importance given the action of the gun.

I don’t intend to oppose others feelings on anything I just like to share my point of view for what it’s worth. I’ve come to realize if you’re looking for the perfect gun (for you) you’ll need to own at least 10 then sell the other 9 and miss random things about at least 7 of them... because no such thing exists

Everything I have

So no one has had jamming issues or loading issues? Many say it's a SIN to adjust the regulator, but why is it there!?

Everything I have read or seen on videos says don't mess with the reg. You will just waste air if you turn it up. Believe me these things have loads of power on the power wheel so so no need to turn the reg up. Don't turn the reg down because it will not have enough pressure to operate and will jam. I had one jam at or near as low as you can go with the power wheel. With a little werq I was able to clear it, without tearing the gun apart, so feel I got lucky. I probly have near two thousand rounds of all kinds of pellets and weights with only the one jam.

I expect the reg needs an initial factory adjustment so the adjustment needs to there.

I jammed mine up solid in December and AOA fixed it quickly under warranty. I got a FX portable chronograph that attaches to the barrel which helped my understand a lot about the air adjustments. I have a .22 and have used the JSB 25.39 grain pellet and the 34.something grain. I do tap the pellets in with something more than my finger or else the tails can shear off as the magazine spins. When the sk19 was being fixed I bought a mag fed paintball marker to fire solid projectiles but it was really a toy compared........

Jamming issues- Can be caused by several things for instance-

Adjust reg. and or p.wheel where they are not in sync with each other. I never adjusted the reg. But did turn the p.wheel. Do not shoot below 600fps.

Seating pellet- I would seat the pellets with my thumb just far enough so after filling mag. It would spin freely.

Shooters with facial hair- this thing likes pulling your facial hair off your face and that slows down the event to rotate the mag. correctly and not index into the next shot.

Do not shoot below the set reg. pressure.

Do not shoot slugs that are incorrect size-.216, .217, .218??

Greetings, I've gone through a love hate love relationship with mine. .Loved it when shooting it. It was a leaker, stopped counting at 5 the number of trips back to AoA, was finally resolved, thank you Rich. The trigger took a little time to be accustomed to though I would like it more crisp. The full auto, it was one of the factors that sold me on the gun, I rarely use. You can burn through a tin of pellets in a heart beat. The fixed magazine I found to be a pain in the find end, I've come to appreciate it as it slows down my pellet consumption. I've had no issues with jamming, jut make sure the pellets are well seated. the gun is more accurate than I am, the LW barrel fine piece of work. The easy barrel removal makes cleaning a breeze. It's not picky on what yuo feed it,.22 14.3gr-35.9gr., haven't tried slugs yet so no opinion there. I fiddled with the regulator to find out the parameters, all I did was waste air. There i s plenty of adjustment in the power wheel, maxes out FX chrony, supper sonic. My only serious complaint is the safety placement, I'm a righty and would like to access the safety with my trigger finger. I wish LCS would make one in .177.

Sound level wasn't bad, put a STO Falix on it, not moue fart quite but back yard friendly. My only serious complaint is the safety placement, I'm a righty and would like to access the safety with my trigger finger.
