I BELIEVE THAT A.O.A. IS GOING TO COME OUT WITH A SLUG BARREL. I PURCHASE THE FX .25 THE NEILSON SLUGS. SO FARE THE DON'T WORK THAT GREAT. WELL; NOT AS GOOD AND A PELLET FROM FX, JSB OR BENJAMIN, I HAD ONLY TRIED THESS BRAND.
I pushed every slug variation on my shelf through with a wooden dowel and some felt like they were engaging well but all came to a screeching halt at the choke.
The 34gr NSA's shot fantastic for me, barrel needs to come off and be agressivley cleaned with a brush. The nice thing about the LCS is it doesn't need a 28" barrel to make power. I have a feeling that the slug barrel they come up with will unfortunately be longer, no thank you on that.
When I got my SK-19, I had a bucket of 43.2gr Eunjin that I thought I'd use for some full auto blasting, but it turns out they shoot really well. Not a slug per se, but a 'super heavy' that does well for me.
If you don't mind camping, cooking and hunting critters you may enjoy this one. I talk a good amount about the LCS as far as my experience with using slugs.
@crosman999 - Those Accu-Tac leg extensions are the best! For the last 6-7 months, I've been running 3 sets of legs on my PC-5 + the claws and spikes as an alternative to carrying the extra weight of a tripod. You can't beat the versatility in random terrain
Thank you crosman999, I have indeed watched your video and enjoyed it, I'm subscribed. I live in South Louisiana so our terrain is different but I an envious of those exercusions/adventures you are taking and hope to do something similar one day. My son lives out in AZ and maybe him and I can find somewhere similar to enjoy. I went on a backpacking hunting trip for Tahr in New Zealand a few years ago, and WOW. Never wanted to leave.
