I keep having leaking problems with the gun. It's been back for warranty work 5 times, actuator valve. They are telling me it's due to me using to lite pellets, Crosman Premier 14.3gr .22 cal., inexpensive plinking pellets I've been told it's a high powered gun and it can't handle lite pellets. When I get the gun back it's tuned for 935ps with 25.9 JSBs. I put the chrony on and back it off to 975fps, so it's pegging the meter,1100+fps, FX pocket chrony then slowly dial it down. Pressure regulator set at 130bars from service department. Are they trying to blow smoke up my hinny?

Just got my LCS not too long ago so I'm no expert, but that does not sound like it makes any sense. Pellets are too light?

Yeah it's beyond my comprehension also. I've got an email out to Ricky at LCS, usually takes about 3 days for response. AOA is scratching their heads on this problem, they've plenty helpful to resolve this problem. It's a gas to shoot when I have it, more time traveling than shooting.

You aren't supposed to touch the regulator at all. Everyone stresses not to touch reg to avoid problems. Only use power wheel.

I could lower the pressure further but service department thinks it's not getting enough pressure to properly operate the gun. As stated I was running the 14.3grs at 975fps. No I haven't touched the regulator, learned that lesson earlier. I'm using FX chrony at high power setting, 550fps to 1099 fps.

The Crosman Hollowpoints aren't the greatest shooting out of the SK19 but their harder than other brands lead makeup can actually withstand 1055fps FYI... Just keep it below the sound barrier.

I’m surprised AOA didn’t set your reg pressure to 140-150 bar. Mine came set at 150 bar from AOA and functions flawlessly.
Dont be scared to touch the reg adjuster. I’ve increased reg pressure to 180 bars to shoot 55 gr slugs with no problems. I’ve never decreased pressure tho. When adjusting reg turn it one mm at at time. It is EXTREMELY sensitive. After every increase shoot the gun a few times to let the reg settle into the actual set pressure. Do this until you’re at the desired pressure.

That doesn't make sense to me either. I shoot 18gr. Jsb out mine with no problem. I have not touched anything other than the power wheel. Works flawlessly and no leaks. I would send it back. They are missing something and not taking the time to really find it.

I haven't touched the regulator setting, only used the power wheel to dial in speed. I find the Crosman Premiers work just fine for my shooting, 50yds, on a good when I haven't had to much coffee I can get an inch at 50yds, 1/2-3/4" if I bag it out, good cheap shooting, $4.13 a tin went up to $6.69 a tin from Gander. I've used JSBs in 15.89, 18.13 and 25.39gr getting similar results, all in the 925-975fps range.

I’m not saying CPHP don’t work well in your rifle. I’m saying that pressure of 130 bar might be causing your problem. If you’re too scared to touch the reg adjuster then just wait until it leaks again and pay for it to be shipped to AOA

It's already leaking. I have adjusted the regulator before and was admonished or it. I haven't moved it so it will not be a problem in the search or the difficultes the rifle is experiencing. AoA has been just great in helping, they've been picking up the shipping cost.They're getting frustrated, I'm frustrated.

No I've no complaints with AoA, they've gone above and beyond trying to figure this problem out. In the earlier period when I had it I tried 170 bar, nothing to excessive, sling a 25.39 at around 1025fps, just to find the boundries, I think there was plenty more power to be had.

There sure is plenty more power to be had. I slung a 55 gr NSA slug at 100 fpe. This guy on YouTube called Patagonia Airguns has put out 130 fpe with his.
How long did you keep the gun on 170 bar? Did you try 160,150, or 140 bar?

I like to tinker with the ammo, experiment with power and speed. Not very long, I'll change a couple times during a session. I've tried 130-170bar in what I like to think is in 5bar increments.

Okay I turned up the regulator to 150bar and shot 3 magazines through the gun, still leaks.
