Snowpeak Lancer/Snowpeak T-Rex Carbine

Added cheap CVLife picatinny bipod, Monstrum adjustable picatinny scope rings and 3-12x Bugbuster scope. Used and removed a piece of cardstock to shim rings up in the back. Have to wait till weekend to shoot it.

The french forums mention a 2 week old free 3d print "M12x1.75mm" accessory on cults3d with no feedback yet.

Fit and finish and general feel is beyond the bullpup T-rex. The rail is split and I can only mount the bugbuster is one spot on the rail but it seems to be in a good spot, although it might be too far forward for some. The buttstock has an adjustment screw for cheek height but it seems you'll just rip out the heatset insert if you try to lock it at the highest position. I will get a shorter bolt to try instead of cranking it down.

Other forums mention 3 or so setscrews that need to be adjusted in unison or else they might snap, and that the sears are rounded off to prevent hair triggers. The Lancer Sp500 Pistol had trigger adjustment changes so I dunno until I open it but the T-Rex Bullpup adjustments were consistent with previous offerings.

For $230 shipped its a good deal for a medium tank regulated PCP.

edit: Post-butchering photos. Attached spanish manual which has parts diagram towards the end and oddly lists a much lower pressure than the french english or american version.

It did at least 915 FPS/26.6 FPE with Crosman 14.3 domed so its the unlocked. Tip is threaded 12mm x 1.75. A notos is quieter (but this is 50% more power). Personally I would want to lower the power for backyard use. A buck and doe walked up and was standing 5 feet or so in front of the target eating apples and I kept shooting around them and they weren't bothered.

Used a grommet to hold the shroud remnants on.

Groupings were consistent at 17 yards with no flyers. Trigger geezer was happy with default trigger so it wasnt adjusted.

No bipod shots since I take that off when its in the storage bag. Imagine a $20 bipod.

It looks damn good.

Post some groups.

Good work on the gun.
Would also love to see the bullpup version of this gun in the hands of a AGN member.

I have both T-Rex types. Bullpup did 21FPE, carbine 26FPE. Bullpup seems to be a PR900 dress up, and is about same size as Notos (top one with bipod on)

Centerpoint on the Notos ?
A $25 Plinty. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B019Q7H1IQ No parralax adjustment so useless below 10-15 yards. Notos needs long tube scopes that have lots of room to slide forward/back on rings or else you wont find a mounting spot. Scope works ok I guess. Need to reprint a less ugly black bipod mount.

Sorry I don't have any grouping photos, I just enjoy the range time i get. Using a very wobbly folding table I was able to get all in the red bullseyes on the splatterburst targets at 17 yards, so it does at least 5 moa accuracy.

If noise isnt a concern then the stock carbine just seems so much nicer for $10 or $20 more.
