Labradar First Impressions

To make it short works excellent! I used it twice now, and it has not missed a shot. I was shooting my 0.25 Impact with a Donny FL moderator. I did purchase the external microphone for triggering and also the additional stand. Unlike some of the reports I have read, aiming is very easy. Setup is straightforward as well. I have attached a spreadsheet of a 60 shot string, and it never missed one. I'll be selling my Competition Electronics soon.

I just received one as well. I haven’t had the time to use it yet. I like reading that you guys are having good experiences. I hope to put out a review some time in the future after I’ve used it a bit.

My LabRadar has been functioning flawlessly for just on three years now.
I mostly use the doppler trigger but occasionally the microphone pickup for special studies like the one I recently reported on the correlation between the LR and F1 Chrony.
Actual mv extrapolations between the two trigger formats show almost no differences for what it's worth.

The LR is just so easy to set up and use. Cost is similar to a reasonably decent scope - and how many of those do some folk have resting in shelves or on rifles that rarely get shot.

Yes it does, You can set up five different ranges for spreed. The distance recorded is based on projectile size. If you download the spreadsheet from the first post in this thread, you will see what I mean.

i have had mine setup on my benchrest practice table now for the last 2 years, shooting from the garage

and i was always having fits with the battery running out in the middle of a target
i set up a transformer and it is now on permanent AC and i just flip switches when i sit down to practice
which i do probably at least 3 or 4 times a week, the labrador never misses a shot
plus it gives the velocity at muzzle, 1yd, 5yds, 10yds, & 25yds if i want to calculate BC
those distances can be changed in moments

I love it. I asked my wife if I could set a shooting table in the den and shoot out the windows since it was so hot outside. The request didn't go over well.
