Kratos maintenance questions

Well the question pretty well reveals I don't know jack about the air rifle world apart from my break barrel Gamo and the daisy lever (not even a red ryder). Though the daisy has served me for about 40years until recently as I left it in a moist environment and it rusted the barrel till BBs would no longer pass through. It was my carpenter bee killer. Anyway apart from not leaving my new Kratos out in the shop what maintenance does it need. It resides in a safe room with a dehumidifier along with the powder burners. Owners manual says silicone oil on the barrel oring every 500rds or 3 months. Where's that at? Maybe I'm just a dummy. What else should I do if anything? Thanks.

Just inside the breech of the barrel you’ll see the barrel o ring. A q-tip with silicone oil is plenty good to swab it occasionally.
Maintenance-wise there’s not a lot to it other than keeping the blued metal protected from rust, one of the silicone soaked rags they sell in the ziplock pouch in the sporting goods section of Walmart is good enough to keep it wiped down after use. They are cheap and last a long time if you keep them stored in the ziplock pouch after use. Cleaning your bore….other than after your initial cleaning when you first receive it you really don’t need to worry about it unless you notice accuracy is dropping off. (Unless you are shooting slugs and then it’ll require more frequent cleaning.)
Store it with air in the tank and you a good to go!
