Krale shipping & customs

I placed my first airgun order with them on Friday 20th. (2 days ago). I received a UPS tracking label that shows my gun in in Little Rock, Arkansas, and that it will be delivered here (Hot Springs Arkansas) tomorrow.
Does an air rifle not have to go through customs anymore where the package either gets tore open or not? Has anything changed?

Seems to be the luck of the draw, kind of like flying, where sometimes TSA will pick you to do a more thorough search. I have had orders from Krale where the package has not been opened and other times it looked like Customs used a Machete to open the box.

Some years back, I was in a customs storage area at La Guardia, with a customs agent, searching for a lost firearm. It wasn't anything clandestine (no fully auto guns, and only a .22 rimfire). He never ask any questions other than how it was packed. We spotted my gun case under a bunch of other gun cases. The agent just grabbed ahold, and yanked. He handed me the case, and said, sorry for the delay, the other two agents are off sick.

The Alphabet org does not consider air guns Fire Arms. Because they are not. So it depends on how they are labeled in the country of origin. If the paper work is done right, getting through Customs is not a problem.
