Kral Sear Height Warning

Apparently many Krals are shipping with sears that are dangerously short. Here is an excerpt from Wicked Air Rifles:

I've seen too many short Sears now to know it's a safety issue. The Kral sear height should be no less than .500 inches in height as measured in the pic below. If you own a Kral I'd suggest measuring it as short Sears can and will lead to an accidental discharge. Matt is making prototypes for me to test and as soon as I am comfortable with them he will have them up for sale or I'll get them from him and put them on my web page. But until then please measure your sear height.

I checked mine tonight (this morning?) and it measured .507" so I guess I'm ok. Also took a close look at all the surfaces and everything looked fine. I'm just guessing but I think I have close to 1000 pellets through it. This is a .25 Puncher Breaker Marine, the bull pup. Just a fyi, the trigger is bone stock and has never had any modification done to it. Just sayin'. I DID adjust it SLIGHTLY via the lock nut and allen screw. If anyone measures there's and comes up with less than .500" please post here, and state whether it's totally stock or possibly was modded.

Hi Ed that's good to hear. In theory since the tuners are hopefully not altering the sears I'm thinking the tuned aspect shouldn't matter. However I did polish my whole assembly but I don't have one of those things to measure it with. I'll be taking a trip to Harbor Freight soon!

Orin-That's what I used, my trusty HF caliper. "In theory", that's what I wonder about...... Just sayin'.
