Think its done. So after the first effort i tried to use aluminium for the series of interlocking plates instead of the steel, the upshot is the aluminium binds too much when the pressure is of the joints. So stuck with the steel and a weight of 505 Grams bit of a let down. However i managed to get the palm shelf to fold level with the mount so the whole thing folds nearly flat, when fully closed it has a depth of 24mm. The other addition is the palm shelf itself which is finished with 2mm plate carbon fibre. All in all works well, the carbon palm shelf is 50 x 150mm now the gun shoulders with a very upright position as i wanted. Next i am planning to add an electronic assisted trigger, ive seen some examples on u tube. Have ordered a few solenoids from amazon, plan to have the extension rod that feeds from the trigger blade to the rear of the gun removed and replaced with a solenoid action. If anyone can offer any advice with this, save me some time with rial and error i would be grateful. Also i have shown a photo of the hamster attached to the Rotex RM8. Thank for watching.
