Kral Puncher Breaker Regulator Leak

Good morning

After researching looked like just leaving it loose did not work well so l filed the notch because i did not want to do it twice go figure now i have torn it apart multiple times live and learn

I may have to sand the inner tube to help inside o ring seal that is next

Also what kind of pressures did you end up with for fps just wondering

Thanks

Bud

What notch are you talking about? This is how my regulator is installed.

I'm at 125 bar 890 fps with NSA 17.5 HP, though I may give hammer a little more and bring fps up over 910-920fps, but the 30fpe has slugs shooting really accurate so far.

Good morning

I have the push in style regulator I used method 2 in instruction sheet which requires to file a notch in the threads and a small notch in tube

I have sanded the inside of the tube and managed to reduce the leak to almost none but still there I think the leak may be on the low side which is the push fit oring

I have set reg to 130 I like a light hammer spring and hoping to be able to adjust air valve down in the range of about 860 to 875

will test tonight may have to adjust pressure so i plan to address the leak at that time

thanks for input any and all input is great to have i am new and trying to learn

Have a great day

WOW, Fixed The leak was on the low pressure side of regulator like I thought,Now have it adjusted down to 105 bar and a little fine tuning of the power valve has it shooting 865fps

Seems like a world of difference with regulator shot strings are really flat and gun is a bit quieter .Going to make a little air stripper in hopes of less noise.

Thanks again for the input

Have A great Day
