What donny moderator would you guys slap in this in .22 would tanto suffice would you get it in .25 .22
How does the sumo fit on the factory threading? I saw in another thread there was a gap and the supressor had to be modified to sit flush.Sumo makes it very quiet. was recommended by DonnyFL and very pleased. I think it could be fine with the next size down actually.
The Kral NP03 already has a 1/2-20 UNF adapter at the end of the shroud.
That adapter would cost $40-$50 if you decided to spend the money at Donny FL.
You can use any moderator with a 1/2-20 thread.
Most airgun moderators have the 1/2-20 UNF thread.
I am 3D printing my moderators now for myself.
The cost for a 3D printed moderator is:
-$1 or less in PLA filament
-2-15 minutes deciding which moderator to print and what printer settings to use
-3-6 hours of print time, usually over night
the refurb NP-03 .22 i just received friday has 1/2x20 threads for a moderator
and it fits perfect with no gap.
yes i also read that, must be 2 different kinds.....I have a refurbished .22 coming so hope my sumo fits flush.
This is the thread I referenced post #52 onwards. I see a shoulder at the base of the np03 threads that didn't fit the donnylf can
Kral Information Thread. “Contribute what you know “
There doesn’t seem to be a wealth of knowledge on the Krals. Bits and pieces everywhere. So I was thinking maybe a single thread of the most common question and quirks of the krals. Mine is out for delivery to the UPS store. My .177 NP-03 showed up about two hours ago. First PCP with a probe which needed an adapter. Thats just dumb.
Anyway, it has a good bark out of the box but I screwed on a Benjamin baffle with CF tube and it is real nice now.
Seems to be quite a tack driver with a cheap 6x scope and Apolo 9 gn dome pellets. Have not cleaned or adjusted at all. Stock feels cheap and the grip does not fit my hand at all (comfortably) but will with some filing.
For under $190 shipped I am really happy with this purchase.
Sorry I missed your question.Mine is out for delivery to the UPS store.
Being a 'refurb' do you see any signs of use on the rifle?
Super happy! No marring or signs of use but signs of maintenance like oil residue so that was good!Sorry I missed your question.
I'm sure you have yours by now but no, there was no sign it was ever fired. There was air in the tank but the mags did not look to have been inserted, they are a tight fit and they look used now.
How about yours now that you have it?
Are you happy with it?
