Haven't had much action with the tree rats lately. Season is over, but get the occasional pest in the yard. Was taking out some trash earlier and had this female chewing on my can lid. Not today Missy!
I went and grabbed the rifle, already loaded with polymags, and came back out hoping she was still around.
She had climbed into my back tree and I guess she thought she was safe. Sent one into the head from the lower back of her jaw, no exit... what an eye popping experience!
Upon further inspection, she seemed to have a misshapen head before the shot. Kind of a deformity I guess and was missing part of her tail. Maybe I culled a less favorable breeder out of the gene pool. Her muzzle and ears just seemed shorter than usual. Dunno if you can tell from the pictures, but definitely looked different than all the others I've blasted.
