Thammer please be very careful. The arrows used in the Benji are specially made for that purpose, the shaft has been wrapped to withstand tube pressure to keep from bursting.
Carbon Fiber is a very unique material it is true that it is stronger than steel, the caveat however is as long as the fibers are oriented properly to counter the stress.
In arrow fabrication the fibers are normally oriented primarily long ways to deal with arrow flex not with concern with internal pressure.
Don't misunderstand me you have a great idea and I love it, just please be careful test fire with the gun clamped on a bench so your hands are well away from the bolts.
