I've got the "baby", (short barrel) Krait. Just a barrel difference.
While there were regulator problems early on, AirMaks worked the problem to get things straightened out.
I waited a while before buying one, while the first "new" (second) regulator was provided. Then there was a third version. I guess, I was lucky with the second version, and have had zero problems with my Krait. I put a digital gauge in the back to try to keep a close eye on the regulator.
As I said, "zero" problems anywhere with the gun.
At first, I thought I was...having a regulator pressure problem, then realized, that the numbers that I was seeing on the digital gauge, were not only small variances, but were small enough that they would not even show up on an analog gauge !
So yes, I wouldn't hesitate if you like the gun. Again, zero problems anywhere with my Krait. I shot it the other day after sitting about two+ months. I had put a piece of tape on the analog gauge to verify the pressure in the air cylinder. NO visable...needle movement. And again, only a couple of bar on the digital gauge on the first shot, and back to it's normal small variance of a couple of bar between shots, as normal in ANY gun, that ONLY a digital gauge will you able to see.
