AirMaks Arms Krait owners speak up

Currently using STO Falx with moderate flow core. All Krait baffles attached. I tried without baffles and I feel it is significantly louder but mine is .25, yours may be different. And regardless of air signature the hammer makes loud click, too. I shoot from indoor with my target placed outside, in backyard, this way I can get as far as 25-30 yards out. Major noise remains inside the house. I recorded the session with a phone placed at backyard, out of curiosity. I can hear pretty loud click and most of it comes from pellet trap, still might be disturbing for neighbors. So I do my "home long range" sessions mostly when there is any other activity present nearby i.e. lawn mowers, constructions etc. Otherwise I shoot indoor only, 15 yards, to develop standing skills.

Honestly, I don't think you will need to adjust the regulator that often. Looks like this rifle is tunable within 50-80 fps with a hammer tension only. Btw I like Huben dream regulator on my Notos for this reason - you can simply close bottle valve and decompress without draining. I played a lot with that one.

Krait standard 0.22 is really interesting rifle.
Is light & short and shoot well.

I was confidence that those regulator problems was solvet with those mk4 reg.

But now i don't know how it is.
Really like to buy one, but for my luck it can be bad one?

All things in youtube is not 100% true, but can that comment be right.

Is that reg really with some wrong parts after huma-air?

I loved mine initially but regulator issues (MK4 Reg) forced me to swap it for a Panthera.

I've had an AirMax Krait air rifle with the a MK4 regulator from Huma (the one with four holes for the adjustment key) for several months now. Unfortunately, from the very beginning, the regulator had severe creep issues. I was disappointed with the rifle and even considered returning it, even though I really liked it. I knew that earlier versions of the regulators and monoblocks had problems with creep, but my version was supposedly free from this defect.

Unfortunately, I was badly disappointed because mine also suffered from creep. I suspected there was an issue with the regulator. So I ordered a spare regulator from the Huma store. After replacing the regulator with the newly purchased one, the creep problem still remained. I disassembled both regulators and examined them - they looked perfect, yet they didn't work properly.

I then ordered a repair kit for this regulator from Huma, as well as two additional disks separately. I received a repair kit in one ziplock bag, but half of the O-rings didn't match my version of the regulator, along with two original beige disks. In the second bag, instead of two more disks for the Krait, I found O-rings for the FX Gen 1-2-3 and two disks for FX. I was a bit annoyed by this.

I began replacing the O-rings and disks in my regulator, but there was no improvement - the regulator still crept terribly. Out of curiosity, I finally installed a disk from the FX, and it was a bullseye. The regulator came back to life. There's absolutely no creep now, and it's very precise.

The original disk in the regulator is beige and has a diameter of approximately 4.10 mm - 4.13 mm and a thickness of 1.37 mm - 1.42 mm (1 measured two disks). The FX disk has a diameter of 4.08 mm and a thickness of 1.05 mm, and it is white. It seems to me life. There's absolutely no creep now, and it's very precise.

It seems to me that the original disks are too thick and don't allow air to pass properly through the holes in the side wall of the regulator cylinder. Huma should take a close look at this, because it appears this is whe
re the problem lies.
This is disappointing to read, I have a krait L hp .25 on order. I should get it next week. I would assume by rev 4 the regulator should work perfectly. How many bar did it creep?
