KRAFORD & LYPT what’s happening with them

There not getting my money , I bought a product from them and thought it was to big for my compact , Ask for a refund was told 25 % restocking fee and I had to pay return shipping , When I complained on AGN I was told I was a cheap scape and since this is a USA company its just fair I should pay 40% of total price of product for changing my mind,, I called B/S and just sold the RTI butt rest out right at 1/2 the cost, A company like that is going to fail not matter what, Unless they change three attitude towards their customers .

Communication, respect, and accountability have nothing to do with Amazon. That’s just good business to properly treat customers. Not to mention if this is the attitude when purchasing, I would hate to have to use their warranty.

Saber Tac was responsible when I had issues.
Agreed!
Poor customer service and other problems have nothing to do with AMAZON.
My reaction was to the post by @Impact1701, regarding our impatience as customers.
Next or almost next day delivery, the ability to get our money back at the drop of the hat, and other PRIME features ,all while sitting on our overstuffed couch has spoiled us to death

However, disabilities such as poor Customer Service, poor quality control, poor payment management, are all the things that Charles Darwin defined in his masterwork “The Evolution and Extinction of Small Businesses & Large Corporations”

Hopefully Kraford & Lyly can overcome the current issues

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I will say that in a time when communication is easier than it has ever been... nothing pisses me off more than a lack of communication from a business.
When it comes to them getting paid... they are ALWAYS quick to communicate.
If parts aren't assembled... You state that up front.
If there is a week assembly time. You state that up front.
The LAST thing you do is give a customer attitude because he/she has to beg for information from you.
It takes a lifetime to build a reputation but only a minute to destroy it.

I had ordered a bag rider back in August. I finally received it last week about 4 months after I paid for it. I had contacted them numerous times for an update and I was totally ignored. If I ever want to get a product of theirs again buying direct seems to be a long process where you are kept in the dark. If I buy in the future it will be from a vendor that varies that it’s an in stock item.

Yours is the first good news to appear here, @Brian10956
You actually received an overdue order
There may be hope for others

Merry Christmas
Edward

PS
Like some other users, did you also get sent a tracking number far in advance of shipment?

I was pretty much convinced it was a lost cause when I received the notice that it was being shipped. I don’t know what the company’s problem is in fulfilling orders in a timely manner, we can only guess. I think I was one of their first customers when i dressed up my gen1 Impact. Hopefully another company will buy them out and make their components more easily available

I had no idea about K&L till recently. Was trying for weeks to get A hold of them, emails went ignored, phones never answered. Weird for a business to get voicemail. Was trying to cancel an order.

Just stopped trying after a few weeks, eventually I got notice item shipped. And it showed up. No plans to shop with K&L again. Thought they were a legit company, did they get sold or something?

About to make excuses for them, but it takes a certain skill to run a small business successfully.
Even being a two person operation, there needs to be that only the mechanical and design skills, and of course the manufacturing quality control, but also the ability to raise your head above the immediate tasks and pay attention to customer service.
And I imagine it’s even tougher when you take something you consider an advocation and try to make it a vocation
I wish them success
Just thinking out loud

Apologies to anyone who feels their order was not fulfilled in a timely manner.
Personally and as a company we understand the complaints; and are continually improving in ways we can.
To address the general tenner of what we have heard, we agree we fall short of customer expectations for delivery. Unfortunately the relative demand for airgun parts isn't at a level where we can produce enough to keep large amounts on hand per product. The economics of 100% made in the usa small batch niche product runs is complex.

I think our communication could be far better and we will work to do better on that. Other than the messaging system via our website, the best way to get ahold of us is via text for our phone number for quick reply.

You should raise your prices, it sounds like you provide a very high quality unique product. Come on guys it's not like it was a secret about how long it might take.

Any business which fails to communicate honestly in a timely manner will fail.
a promise of delivery is just that - a promise!
It is far better to know that a product will take 90 days before shipping than hearing a lie and a lie compounded by creating a Shipping label that never actually goes out.
it’s unlikely that a highly skilled machinist or design engineer will also be a good logistics person and effective communicator. Truth and kept promises are the best advertising in business.
yes - poop happens, material shortages, tools break, cnc machine circuit boards fry etc... but this is all part of why communication is the king. As a person who is somewhat A.D.D. i tend to hop from project to project without completing the first one (all the way) which is why i create a priority list with a simple rule...
I must finish A completely before i start on B, and if there is a reason i can't finish A, i better have a solid plan in place to deal with my inability to finish what i started before i move on to the NEXT thing.

Just make sure you have a accurate inventory and have it live on your website. That is one thing I hate most, and I think many feel the same as me, when you order something and after you order it, it says not in stock. If I know something will take 2 months or so to get before I order that is fine, I know going into it. But throw that on someone after the fact and people don't like it. K&L make awesome products. Don't let some minor things ruin your company.

The day that I place the order he told me that he will be sending the package out in a few days, and he never did he was clearly lying a month late I text he told me the same thing it will be shipped out in a few days and nothing happens. Two months later I ended up canceling the order I'll never order from this company if you need something from then you will be getting it from a dealer
