great shooting on those pigeons. The most I ever got in one sitting was 15. The farmers call me when they start coming around and now that its cold I'm ready to go.

Pigeons are also called rock doves. Should be delicious and I intend to find out. Never heard of a bird with rabies.

I've never heard of them called Rock Doves in the US.

There is lots of slang out there I’m sure. One farmer I know calls them flying rats.
