Great deal and very nice! I'm happy to see that target and how accurate it is. I keep going round and round putting a similar gun together at Crosman's online shop. Hope to get a pair for my oldest son and myself.

Prime example of not spending a lot of $$ to enjoy something. Perfect plinker, camping gun, garden pests, house flies. It even shoots tight at 40 yards, but probably couldn't kill a mouse with it at that distance, haha.

Nice, really can't go wrong with Crosman guns, does yours have the 18 or 24" barrel? Mine only has a 10" shooting in the mid 500s and plan on upgrading it to a longer barrel soon. Matter of fact I paid $125 for mine as well ( 2240 with 177 conversion 10" barrel and steel breech upgrade). I wonder how much fps will increase going to the longer 18 or 24"?

I'm really not sure. I'd measure it but I probably won't see it again for a few weeks (on loan). The muzzle brake looks like a good, functional design so I'm sure that's helping. I chronied it a couple years ago and want to say it's in the 700's(?) with 7.8gn. Red squirrels hate it!
