Keep FX Impact or RAW HM1000X?

If I were you, I would keep them both unless you were trying to fund another important purchase. Both of those guns are still on my short dream list. If I had to keep just one, it would easily be the fx impact. I would hate for you to regret selling a gun later on down the road! I have done that many times with some firearms in the past. Good luck with your decision!

Your best bet might be to hold on to both and spend a few months behind the triggers of each gun. That way you have time to get to know the ins and outs of each rifle so you can make a well informed decision whether to sell one of them or keep them both. If bench rest shooting is your thing, then I'd imagine your going to find the RAW to be much more bench friendly than the Impact. Bull pups, are less than ideal when shooting off bags or a rest due to their shape. I have owned a 30 Bobact, 25 Wildcat, and 25 Impact so I speak from subjective experience.Of note, my .25 Impact was dead on between 60-70 yards but was hopeless at 100 yards. My 30 Bobcat was a extremely accurate out to 100 yards though the pellets would arc at that distance and you could literally see the pellets dropping onto the paper target which was bizarre. I was constantly struggling to keep the rear of the Bobcat from slipping forward off the rear rest which got old fast. The Wildcat was the worst of a rest as it was simply too light and I found it was better suited to shooting using a bi pod instead.

If EBR is your goal, then choose the rifle that shoots accurately and consistently at 75 and 100 yards. You have a long time to practice before the next EBR so have fun.

If you don't think you'll regularly use the Impact then I would sell it now while you can still get back most of your money.

Until recently an FX Impact could be sold used for nearly the same or even the same as a new one but that time is coming to an end. supply is catching up with demand and if you keep it another 6 months who knows how much value it will lose.

Whether it is deserved or not, the Impact has a reputation for issues. That wouldn't bother me on a new gun with a full warranty but I'm not sure I would take the chance on a used one unless there was a price discount that makes it worth it. For the sake of $100 or $200, I'd buy new. I'm probably not the only one who thinks like that so if you aren't going to keep it, sell it asap.

This wouldn't be much of an issue if it was a gun you loved and used every day but if it is just going to sit there gathering dust then give a new home. Then use the money to buy something you will actually use.

I think bullpups are most advantageous to hunters. You can certainly use them for benchrest and even do well but, ideally, you would want something heavier like the RAW.
