What moderator are you running on your Katran? I have a Katran LB coming my way and I want to be prepared.

I might shoot the gun first and see how loud it is. I had a Katran L in .25 cal, and it was definitely backyard acceptable without any further moderation.
My Katran CB is definitely not, but fortunately I was able to get away with just a short/compact mod for backyard friendly. I'm using the little Huggett Atom, and it works great without extending the gun's length much. And the CB even in .22 cal was way louder than the L model in .25 (lots less barrel shroud length/volume to tone down the bark on the CB as compared to the L).

Not shooting the Katran but if you can try the new Weihrauch XLK moderator you will be very impressed

I have the Katran LB in .22 shooting at around 43 FPE (I messed around with the regulator). I'm using the 0DB 110C on top of the 2 moderator pieces that come with the gun. I tried a number of different options (Donny Tanto, Tatsu, FX and some TKOs). The 0DB was the best combination of accuracy and noise suppression.
