Karma Karma eq

I was thinking barrel diameter was probably off. You can get 301 , as well. Someone needs to mic the bore
My bore mic is too big to fit, but I checked it with a slug. It fits snug when you push it in the end of the barrel. Slugs measure .297 with calipers 20250510_090243.jpg

I have the EQ in 22. Here is what I have so far.

The mags are deep and are of good quality but I hate the retention system they can move side to side causing alinement issues.

I have shot everything from 14.7 grain crossman premiers to 38.7 grain aea range master slugs on the stock tune only adjusting the transfer port. (Regulator 1900 psi hammer backed all the way off) the range masters were slow at 800 fps but shot straight like a laser beam. (I will be working up a real tune for them.) standard deviation was 2-4 fps with everything I shot. It has shot everything accurately except Apolo destoyer 28 grains that I have not gotten to shoot well in anything. I have not experienced a point of aim shift. And I have not babied gun at all. The trigger needs some work but I managed to make some adjustments that makes it a ok trigger 2.3-2.5 pound. ( check youtube video dons world) when I have some time I am going to see if some improvements and be made. The one a received had some burrs on the collar that slides over the barrel they would wear off and caused some binding problems untill I broke it down and removed them.

The karma eq .ok who's got 1,shot 1 or knows some1 with 1 . Anyone else think karma hit a home run with this 1 .under a thousand bucks 1000 fps 30 cal? Anyone picking 1 up ?I'm saving rt now for mine.are u doing the same?
I’ve got one. Around 1200 shots. I made the mistake of jumping right on it without thinking . To me theres no way to justify it costing twice as much as a zelos which I have . I have more posts under various EQ headings. If you’re only referring to 30 cal I’m sorry I jumped in . I have the .22

I just received mine in .30. I’m pretty impressed, this thing is a hammer. Who can tell me what the lock knob is for on the left side of the gun
As far as I know it locks the knob on the opposite side of gun.
I thought it was the hammer adjustment but I think it’s a transfer port adjustment

I didn’t know the hammer adjustment is hidden behind the movable cheek piece.
No mention in manual along with the transfer port ?
Only reason I know now is a post and picture somewhere on this forum.
As of right now I haven’t seen any Karma literature on this.View attachment 568424
Yeah I saw it somewhere on YouTube. Probably on “don’s world”. That guy has a cpl good videos on the gun which is awesome as the company itself hasn’t bothered making a true review of the gun. Almost like it’s the least favorite child. Kind of shows.

I will have my .25 EQ on the range this week for the first time. I've been shooting it in the garage @ 12m. I'm itching for 50m and then 100m.

Mine seems to need higher reg settings (than others I've seen in videos) to get velocity up above 900fps (25.39g pellets). I'll be testing AEA 33g pellets plus a bunch of slugs from 30-50g. (AEA & ZAN test kit). I'll be documenting the results in my ".25 Karma EQ has arrived" thread I started when it showed up.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with it. People expect miracles right outta the box. I knew up front that it was gonna be tweak and tune.

It’s been about 1600 pellets since the box was opened….

I'm nearing 250. :p At std. pellet velocities, it performs quite well...for short range. Many one hole groups around 850ish. One very dead squirrel. Light pellets. I just haven't found 900+fps...yet.

I suspect my reg press gauge is under reporting (~200psi), but I have no way to test that. Might try a digital gauge...eventually.

What does it currently show for pressure on reg ? That platform in 25 should do 900 with a 25.39 at idle half asleep. I would suggest also try messing with the transfer port. Sometimes these guns aren’t actually on max even though the dial says it is. The port actually rotates past max opening and is slightly closed at the max setting.

I'm a retired engineer. I test everything. The the Xfer port drops velocities the instant it is off of max. Breathe on it and lose 25fps.

I just got back from the range, which I'll talk about on my EQ thread. The regulator isn't regulating. I saw a single shot at 900 (25.39g pellet) with the reg at 2200 during my last garage session.

Yeah yours is not the first one I’ve read about with the reg doing that. Maybe they will replace it or if any manufacturer makes an aftermarket AEA tube reg it would probably fit.

I'm going to degas it and see what I can see about the reg. I've been using gas regulators all my life, never had to take one apart!

I have a 30 cal. Ive shot hundreds of rounds through it. I probably tried too many different slugs and pellets and need to just work on one at a time. Jsb, zan, aea. I have had my best groups with aea 52.2 gr master slugs, I'm going back out to test it with 45gr pellets hopefully tomorrow or Monday. Then 50gr another day. I also have some 56 gr Zan pellets. My previous bench set up wasnt working the best, but now I got a new adjustable rear bag. I made it with a laboratory scissor jack from Amazon. I can easily line up my shots now, and focus on shooting, not messing with positioning the rifle. So far It's been great but I have got a ways to go

What diameter slugs? Only .30?

Degassed, pulled the reg, cleaned, polished the little crossbar but didn't have a spanner screwdriver to access the washer stack. Put it all back together and ran about 150 pellets thru her. Regulator creep is now gone, it didn't move a hair from 1000psi to 2000psi (in 200psi increments). As soon as my spanner screwdriver set arrives, I'll take it all down again, regrease, etc.

I'm still having velocity issues. I can't get even the light pellets (.25 X 25.39 pellets) above 850fps...no matter what I try. I've verified the Xfer port is wide open, Hammer Spring has been adjusted thru its entire range at a variety of reg. pressures. Tonight I went thru the reg. from 2000psi to 3000psi (33.9 pellets). Highest velocity was 824fps. I'm becoming more and more convinced that I have a restriction somewhere...valve body maybe? @3000psi reg. pressure, I should be having to boost the hammer spring just to get the valve to open. Hammer spring adjustments don't do squat...other than cause the velocity to drop.

My final string of 21 shots this evening @ 3000psi reg press (33.9g pellet) actually climbed 23fps (817 to 841). That's a first. If I was at 2000psi reg pressure, I would start some fine tuning to get a flat spot in the graph...but it should be shooting those 33.9 pellets @900fps at 2000psi. No reg creep @ 3000psi...I guess that's a plus.
