I made crude bump dies back when I was shooting BPCRS. Essentially, you find a drill bushing the size you want and a rod of similar size. The slug goes in the bushing and the rod is the bump. Whack it with a hammer (on an appropriate surface). The slug will conform to the drill bushing size.
No, it isn't perfect. If your slug has a specific nose profile, you can cast the profile in the bottom of the drill bushing by using epoxy (JB Weld) and a release agent (like Vaseline or silicone lube). I had access to "dental stone", which is a water mixed powder. Sets up very hard and doesn't shrink. It helped me decide on whether to have a custom mold made or not (I did, it didn't help my scores). Obduration in cast bullets happens so quickly in a PB that perfect fit isn't really necessary. Different with PCPs.
If you can't find the exact drill bushing size, you can take the nearest smaller size and hone it to size with emery paper (or wet/dry sandpaper). I looked at McMaster Carr and they carry 0.302" drill bushings. They also probably carry hardened dowel pins at that size. Often you can get them in 1/2 thou increments.
Edit: They have "Core Pins" in both 0.302" and 0.303".
