Umarex Karma eq vs Umarex zelos

I've seen multiple comments in videos, forums, etc comparing the eq to the zelos with multiple people stating that the eq isn't worth the extra money. I'm looking for opinions on the matter. They do look similar and the zelos can be fitted with a bottle for higher shot count and still come in cheaper than the eq, so why would you purchase one over the other?

I have both in 22. I’m being repetitive now but for me the EQ will never
be worth the more than double I paid for it over the zelos

Does the EQ atleast feel like it's higher quality?

Took note last month when two new Karma EQ owners shared their mutual disappointment with the purchase in a thread. Can't recall same for Zelos. WM

If heavier is quality.. ha
One example is trigger adjustments. I lightened the zelos once and haven’t needed to touch since.
My EQ trigger sucks . Installed the little plastic block that was Karmas trigger upgrade. Shortened
the 1st stage travel a bit. To lighten was to be on the edge of not cocking or hang fireing . I’ve had
the trigger ok and after hundreds of shots wouldn’t cock. It doesn’t hold adjustment for me. If you
crank down on screw it will indent rod making further adjustments even less likely to hold.
I want to like the gun and to me is a big Zelos that just doesn’t work flawlessly as the Z.
Ive got about 1800 shots through both

I've heard about the trigger being garbage but thought that was remedied with the fix they put out, evidently that's not the case. Lol. Is the karma atleast capable of more power?

I had high hopes for it. The fix was a Lego block with no nubs.
It must have worked for some.

As to power ? Do I test that by maxing out speed and pellet weight ?
I would have to take some time to test .

Not necessarily "maxing it out" pellet weight and speed determine fpe or power output.

I was skeptical at first when I bought the Zelos .25, but after shooting it with the right pellet, it made a believer out of me, it is a superior gun at a bargain price.

There is no gun of the Zelos price that is better. Hence it’s definitely worth it.
There is not many double the price that is better.

Oh yeah. You can’t go wrong. Read the rooms… not much negative I’ve heard about Zeloses

That's the plan. I'm getting a 22 for sure but think I'll also be getting the eq in 25 as I already have a deal lined up on a used one.

I’m sure comparing both guns stock out of the box the EQ is certainly capable of more power but that doesn’t in itself make it better in any way.
