In this video, I'm back with the Karma EQ .22 caliber air rifle—this time at DonnyFL HQ in Florida for some in-depth slug testing and an exciting update on the new adjustable trigger system. If you've been following since our Puerto Rico iguana hunt, you know the EQ impressed us early. .
Trigger Update: Karma Airguns listened to our feedback and delivered an updated adjustable trigger system—crisp, consistent, and perfect for benchrest shooting or hunting. This revised trigger system has been shipping since April so if you've gotten an EQ since, you have the modified trigger system.
Slug Testing: I tested over a dozen .22 caliber slugs ranging from 22 to 42.3 grains, including FX Hybrids, AEA 38.6 gr hollow points, and the new Zan ELRs. Velocity ranges spanned from 850 FPS to over 1,000 FPS to dial in what this Karma EQ 600mm barrel really loves. Those Zan ELRs have been tested as slow as 750 in a Karma SLS all the way up to 1020 FPS in my FX Dynamic .22 cal with a 1 in 16 twist custom 800mm slug slinger and they seem to be stable across a large velocity range. We've had some really good success in the Karma Red Panda too with the right tune. Goes to show how versatile these Zan ELRs are.
