Kalibrgun cricket 2 tactical .30 regulator setting

Having trouble getting regulator to get more than 700 fps. Need 850 to 900. Any ideas?

Dear mate, You didn't mention you current regulator setting. Is you Reg set too low ????

You may have look at Mr Ernest Rowe videos on Cricket. As I could make out, in case of OEM regulator (.25 cal), you gain arnd 15 bar pr by loosening the derlin plug by a qtr. In case of .25 cal, 15 bar incr leads to an approx incr by 45fps in velocity.

A CAUTION that Reg not to be set too high.
Also, you need to use the harder spring.

Suggest that you spk to Mr Charlie Frear (Georgia Airguns), all issues will be resolved.

Without a testing device, how does one go about getting the reg set at the right pressure. Trial and error has not achieved desired results. Tried Ed Rowe's method with the 1/16 probe. No luck. Can't get anything over 400 fps. Any advice? Help is greatly appreciated.

Through a lot of experience, you can do it but it can also be very frustrating! The only solid way is to use a reg tester. I've got one, send the reg to me.

Very true mate. Without a reg tester, I had to open up my Cricket arnd 15 times. Eventually, I put an Huma Reg and no issues since then.
Though, I realised there is negligible variation of arnd 3 bar on set mark vs actual on Huma.

Mine Cricket Gen 1 .25 was around 120 bar from factory setting.

Oh ok thank you ! because i hear that cricket II comes around 125 for .25 and 115 for .22 but wasn't sure
