Kahles 1050i ft scope for long range ?

The manual says that the parallax is limited from 8 yards to 60 yards.

It's the 1st time I see a scope that is limiting the far distance for parallax adjustment.

Anyone using it for 100 yards to 300 yards?

If yes, how do you feel it?

Can its parallax be re adjusted for long range?

Regards,
There are several FT scopes out there that limit the long distance. Sightron has a couple for example. Some others limit it, but some just limit to 100 or 300.

I have owned the Kahles 10-50 FT and standard model. If you are shooting over 100-300 yards, you should get standard model and save money too (FT is more expensive and rarer). You run out of focus room at the end with the FT model. The focus wheel is set up to maximize focus at the lower end. Granted, I didn’t bother trying to focus on something at 300 yards with the FT model, but knowing how close to the end of the focus wheel at 55 yards was, the long range focus won’t be like the focus under 60. Might be possible, but you would be bringing the wrong tool to the job, and for that price, I would buy the right tool.

I put before you the exact situation. In fact there is a package deal of a RAW BM500 with Kahles 10x50i ft.

I am not an FT shooter. I shoot most of the time at 100 yards and beyond.

If I had to purchase a new scope I would definitely not chose ft scope.

Now as the scope is not in my hands, I want to know that if this ft scope will cause in accuracy and blurred vision at 100 yards and beyond.

Regards

I have a Kahles FT scope - not yet mounted, however, I'll check whether or not 100 plus yards are usable - it might be 24 hours before I can answer. Perhaps someone else can chime in before then.

Just tried to use the scope beyond 100 yards and I would NOT recommend this scope for that purpose. At 50x the sight picture is very fuzzy at best. Not fit for your purposes. My Delta Stryker beats the Kahles hands down beyond 60 yards.

hope this helps. Perhaps the BM is interesting enough with the Kahles that you can flip the scope and get something more fit for purpose. Good luck.

BTW. I enjoy your videos

Thank you for appreciating my videos. My videos are for international airgunners as our local users of airguns are not interested in technical stuff.

Thank you for advising me of the Kalhes ft scope.

I have made the deal without the scope.

The gun is costing me US$ 2K.

It's made pre Airforce era when Martin used to do almost everything with his small team.

I understand that with mass production, that level of QC is often not possible.

The gun is used just a couple of times on bench.

I prefer it over new RAW guns.
