So I just purchased a k1, no so backyard friendly with any decent moderate power tune! I’ve heard a lot negative comments about mounting a suppressor due to the nature or weakness of the shroud and the thread for an adapter, has anyone mounted a suppressor with good results? Any recommendations for a light weight one that would bring it to backyard friendly territory. Considering one of those fat short ones in order to minimize the pressure on the shroud.

The Huggett Atom does an amazing job taming the report from the K1. I've compared the output volume (I am running .25 @ 90fpe - it doesn't get much louder) with the Atom, Belitta and Snipe and neither of the two longer ones do any more than the Atom. And the Atom will remove any bark - mine is basically a low pop pop when shot.

Thank you, any validity to this hype about the shroud and thread being too weak for a suppressor, will look up the atom now

Just one follow up question, is the atom capable of handling 50 to 60 fpe out of my .22 k1 without affecting accuracy ?
