Just released Kraford and Lypt cheek riser and chamber flag/breech safety

Kraford and Lypt just released an adjustable cheek rest for the FX Impact. I got one! Fellow shooter

Monte Shosted gave it to me for my birthday! Love it. Five minutes to install. Also shown is a chamber flag K&L makes for PCPs. They're perfectly machined too...

Is it compatible with the new NSA pellet probe set

Yes. It attaches where the FX stock cheek rest attaches.

I know that the Saber Tactical is not compatible with my NSA

probe.

In that case, you should check with Steve at Kraford & Lypt. It's hard to imagine how a probe could be incompatible with this cheek rest/riser.

I always wonder why the chamber flags/breech thingies are color coded wrong. They are nearly always red, of which the universal meaning is: Beware, Hazard, Danger. (Some are brightly orange, which is more like an attention signal, that is fine)

If one is in place in the gun, it means the weapon is safe. So they should be white or green...

You're right! Red sends the wrong message.

Hmm seems like good logic. I suppose it's like "hay look it's safe" and if you cannot see the rifle has a flag, then you assume it's not safe. Red grabs more attention. No one has a red strap and there are few red aftermarket parts for rifles in general; so it's an abnormal color to look for when the range is cold. idk
