Just Received A Hatsan 135 QE Vortex Carnivore .30 In The Mail. :)

like the title says it just came today. Looks like a beast right out of the box! Fired 3 shots at 10 yards just to see how the open sights were and they were almost dead on.
WOW what a monster to cock! not a all day plinker for sure.
Hope to get a little feedback, info and any advice with those of you that have one, had one, love or hate them. Thanks in advance.

I had one was fun. I never put a scope on mine just ran open sights. Seemed accurate enough I would pop apples at about 40-45 yds with it.

i had a carnivore QE about 4-5 years ago, i used it to hog hunt in the swamp.
mine was a .35 and it did the job quite well out to about 20-25yrds
which was about my max hunting distance with it.
i put a 2-7x32/ao hawk on it.
this gun was discontinued several years ago.

Congratulations, nothing beats adding a gun to the collection. The Hatsan 135 QE Vortex Carnivore .30 isn't my cup of tea, never had one but have seen reviews with frequent references to "The Elephant Gun" of airguns. My Benjamin Trail NP XL .22 has a cocking effort of 27 pounds, can't enjoy shooting for long, my hat is off to you, think your cocking effort closer to 50 pounds! Your gun is a solid performer, hope you enjoy for many years to come. WM
