John- Have you taken off your receiver? It's possible you put your charging handle back upside down? The plastic ball in the handle has to be facing down.

Mine will be here today after I get it I can hopefully figure out your issue(after seeing gun) I've been a mechanic for a good part of my life and love tinkering. Hopefully I'll have an idea by tonight on your no fire issueSee above. Let me know what you think
OK so new sam marauder came in and within 10 minutes I was up and ready to do some testing. 1st shot went off but the rifle wouldn't cycle semi-auto. In order to load another pellet in the chamber I had to pull on the charging handle which didn't seem to work that smooth either. After much frustration with no semi-auto throughout the magazine I tried different one hoping that was the issue to no avail. I tried different pellets and still no semi-auto cycling until on the 4th full magazine the charging handle would no longer go all the way forward. At this point I had enough and was going to send it back but had to try to fix it hating the idea of no new gun for 2 weeks. I pulled the barrel shroud then took out the 4 bolts holding the breech to the valve/air cylinder. When I turned the breech over there was a mangled pellet somehow jammed between the breech and cylinder in the slot for the charging handle . I can't imagine how it could have gotten there other than during assembly. I removed the demolished pellet put it back together and fired a full clip rapidly with no issues. Unfortunately by this time it was already dark so looks like the real testing happens tomorrow.Mine will be here today after I get it I can hopefully figure out your issue(after seeing gun) I've been a mechanic for a good part of my life and love tinkering.
