Same model I had. QE moderator itself just doesn't tame the bark enough for me. My Donny screwed on to the QE shroud end, NOT the barrel end (got the Hatsan adapter when I bought the Donny). Unbelievable difference in volume & accuracy. It makes it long but the neighbors never heard it!
I have the BT65 in .30 with the QE moderator. It it still noticeable loud and I agree an additional moderator is needed to get it backyard friendly if you need it to be that quiet. Also to the OP I would recommend you try some heavy pellets, your gun should shoot very hard and might be more accurate with them. Mine will push 44.75 JSB’s in the 880 range.

I was thinking in the wrong direction and almost placed an order for 5 different pellets last night with the heaviest under 25 gr. I would have placed the order except for a giltch on the website and my cart.
Instead, I ordered the Shooter's Sampler.
