Just Ordered FX M3

Hi new to forum and was wondering what your opinion would be on what scope and rings to use on a FX M3 in a .22 cal. that I just ordered. Was looking at the Element Titan or the Element Nexus one draw back is the Titan weight in at 39 oz and the Nexus weight is 28 oz or is there a different scope that you would put on this gun. On scope rings I was looking at the FX no limit scope mounts or the Infinity adjustable IPS scope rings. Your opinion would be very much appreciated.

I have the titan on mine and pretty happy with it other than the weight! It’s definitely bright.

Congrats on your new FX M3. I have an FX Royale 400, that I bought it back early on 2017. It has killed a gazillion squirrels on / under my bird feeders. All my air guns are mounted with Hawks Vantage Scopes, either 3-9x40 or 4-12x40. They've done well for me. I don't known anything about the scopes you mentioned.

One of the best, if not the best for the $, is the Athlon Midas TAC 6-24x50. Everything about the scope is above average and it's not expensive. Also it's not heavy with a 30mm tube, not very long, has good glass, excellent turret feel(best in class), a zero stop, capped windage, a great MOA reticle or good MIL reticle.

Leupold vx freedom series has excellent scopes and they are light.

What is your intended applications and shooting distance? Do you dial a lot or use hold over? And budget?

Welcome! Great choice in the M3, while having multiple Mk2s, I am really impressed with the performance and tune that Ken Hicks did on my M3. I have had the both Nexus and Titan, go with the Nexus! The Titan is great, pulls a lot of light, tracts well, but it doesn't compare to the Nexus. The Nexus does everything better, sure it doesn't have as much magnification, but that's the easiest tradeoff.
