I don't have the trigger reset problem. It resets on its own just fine after each shot. It does however need pushed back forward if the first stage is taken up and the shot is not fired. Supposedly a spring under the sear will fix this, but I tried a couple but the first was too light to work and the second was too strong to allow the rifle to fire. I think the spring will mess up the reliablity of the trigger and don't mind pushing the trigger forward manually on the rare occasions I don't take the shot.

Yes, the only thing is I have to push trigger forward after I pull trigger (still in 1st & the shot is not fired), but other than that the trigger mod works perfectly for me (smooth 1st stage, a little heavier at 2nd stage, fold to cock at 140 degrees, trigger reset when cocking ...) and my group is better than before. Perhaps, I was lucky having a correctly spring to work with (I found that spring in my garage)

There are many different spring plungers. Different spring force and travel. The one i found works the best is the #67009X from springplungers.com.
You must also use a moderate spring under the trigger guard, and on top of the sear lever, which ensures that the trigger always returns forward, both after the shot, AND if you start a shot and then cancel. You can then adjust the engagement of the plunger behind the trigger for a nice, 2 stage predictable let off.
Mine has worked perfectly for thousands of rounds. It feels very close to my record triggers in my HW's.

Sorry for not answering back sooner. Quite a bit of info regarding triggers, that's for sure. After 30 years of gunsmithing and a focus on safety, triggers that reset are a must. I appreciate nice triggers as much as the next guy, but I'll try it out within the limits of adjustability to start with. I do appreciate all of the input. It's funny, I handled the Evanix the other day and realized what an abysmal trigger that has and it never stopped me from getting great groups. However, now it's going to get some major attention while I do some freshening up on some aspects of the gun.

Mark, the trigger is fine. Just start shooting and you will get used to it. If not, try trigger mod with springplunger. Besides mentioned advantages I love for one more thing - you can service it by your own with just two or three allen keys... Just today I wnted to replace o-ring in huma air regulator and I had 10 minutes before I had to leave for work. I made it in 5 and still got time to check velocity with my chonograph... Its that easy with Leshiy.

Finally got an update listed in tracking from USPS, it at least is migrating its way towards me. Scheduled delivery tomorrow, now the itch gets worse! I want to thank everyone for the information regarding triggers. I have over 1000 springs packaged and marked with specs from my gunsmithing days, so if I do any modifications and find a good spring, I'll share the info for others in the future.

I was thinking about power levels with the .25 and may have to throttle it back for some of the work around my house. Overpenetration and ricochets are not something I want to worry about, so I may have some fun dialing it in with my chronograph for close quarters work before I have a chance to stretch its legs for power at the range. I'll try to keep things updated on this thread.

Well, a box finally arrived yesterday.

I am now the proud owner of....a Smurf! 

Beautifully finished and the trigger is already below a pound (by feel). It has a bit of a bark and will need some help to function in my area discreetly. Not much more to say until I get it scoped and have a chance to run it. I'll have to content myself with fondling in the meantime..

Damn, that would almost pass for a Nerf gun. Could shoot it at the park or beach, nobody would guess its a air rifle. I've though about making a "Nerf" looking air gun stock for my air guns, shoot anywhere without alarming people. Like at the grocery store parking lot where all the pigeons hang out! Cool air gun

Thanks for the reassurance. As for me, the finish quality is very similar to what I have seen on firearms and looks fine to me. I can understand the differing opinions on this specific application because I have seen the other items you referred to and they are often finished like jewelry. Right now I am scrounging through the optics I have to find something better than the Hammers scope I swiped off of a Bengamin. The choices are so limited in the mid range price point. My buddy located the chronograph he borrowed, so I will look forward to seeing what the velocities are in factory tune.

I wish all my fire arms had the fit and finish as good as my leshiy. Hell I'd settle for half. And if a range buddy gets mouthy you could unfold it and issue a beat down. It feels like a miniature brick sh**house. A solid block of aluminum

It has the delicate charm that can only be achieved when a product comes from Unit #37: Tractor, Baby Carriage and Howitzer factory. As an engineer, I love the way they construct things for functionality over form. It's nice when that functionality happens to have form as is found in the Leshiy.
