Just Introducing Myself

Hello everyone. I'm just posting to introduce myself. I am a 47 year old avid airgunner from Corpus Christi, TX. I fell in love with airguns as a young man starting with a Crosman Phantom break-barrel rifle shooting .177 caliber. I remember the first time I shot it and my passion for all things airgun was born that day. Since then I've moved on to high end PCP pistols and rifles such as the Huben GK1 to the Daystate Delta Wolf just to name a few. All truth be told I have way too many now and may be selling some off in your communities Classifieds section in the coming weeks so my wife can stop telling me I own too many. :p

It was a pleasure to say hello and I look forward to the wonderful community you have here. :)

Welcome! Enjoy your stay.. John

Welcome, I'm from E Texas, Jacksonville and have been into airguns since early 1975. I had gotten back from a two year tour in Turkey with the USAF, and had seen some kind of breakbarrel in our NATO rod and gun club, but everyone was cocking and dry firing it so I passed on purchasing it, just a gut feeling it would not be in good shape, even new. I have pretty well stuck with springers over the years. getting a FWB 300 about ten years later then after my son finished college and law school started back up. and rapidly increased my collection. Recently 3 more dedicated 10m guns, on a ssp. I do have severa ssp pistols and 4 of the earler FWB springer pistols. 11 FWB guns and probably that many HW models. I decided not to go down the pcp rabbit hole , really no place for a compressor and related equipment. Recently I have been trying to get my 80 year old body back in shape for offhand shooting, not easy. I did some years ago on a college ROTC rifle team.
