There is something to be said for simplicity for sure. Great gun for teaching, low velocity matches and plinking. Hard to beat their 700 series pistols as well. To bad they quit making them. Bad Daisy evil.

I just ordered one Friday for cheap from flea bay. 

I wanted a SSP rifle to shoot on my indoor 10 meter range, to go with my small collection of inexpensive SSP pistols and my Daisy 887. I was looking at this ok looking Walther LGR, it didn’t work, needed every seal, was missing its sights, but was local to me so I would save $30 for shipping. It started at .99 and sold for $384. I went to 335, I can’t believe I did, and I’m glad I didn’t get it. When I saw this 753s new open box, missing its sights, it spoke to me, I figured this would scratch the itch for way less, and I wouldn’t have to try to run with the big dogs online. 

I already ordered the correct sights last night from Champions Choice. I hope it’s as good as yours.
