Oh, also, I got a new scope for it, a Hawke Vantage 6-24x44. It has the side focusing, but it only goes down to 15 yards, which is a minor bummer, since my basement range is only 14 yards. When I look through it at 14 yards, I can't get the reticle and target to be in focus at the same time; one always blurs out.
After 16X, it gets notably dimmer, but I didn't expect miracles at high magnification from only a 44mm objective. I also didn't want anything heavier, as this is quite a heavy gun already, and I like to be able to shoot offhand, too. The optics are very clear, and its my first scope with side focusing.
