FX Just got back into PCP's after more than a decade break

Finally back into PCP's by buying a FX Dreamline Lite Compact in .22, i'll post some pictures when it arrives. Its exciting but also scary to spend so much on something that you don't fully understand after being away from the hobby for so long. Hopefully its a good experience. I needed something small and light because i have MS and can't carry around anything heavy.

I have been looking at posts and videos so i can be informed, hopefully it goes well and i don't have to ask many questions. My only concern right now is that i hope its not too loud and i hope its low maintenance. If anyone has any tips or experiences that you'd like to share about that specific platform then please do share, I must have watched at least 20 videos in the last 24 hours but people seem to have different experiences.

In my personal experience - Dreamline is an excellent platform. I didn't much like the flexibility of the stock on the Lite series, but they are transformable to whatever configuration you want.

The 'updated' rifle in the FX line seems to be the DRS. I like the DRS, but to me the Dreamlines were/are better. Too bad they are becoming harder to find new. Good guns, and you should enjoy yours!

Welcome back, I was in the same boat, many years ago, more than a decade probably I had a Marauder. Then sold it and only kept my springers. Now that I am older I am more flexible with work and life commitments so I am back in the PCP world. Started with an Avenger X and then bought a Daystate. Lots to learn and keep myself occupied with timer permitting on slow weekends.

Welcome back. If you are worried about sound grab a moderator. Low price and light, look at a buck rail 3d printed.

If you want something more durable check out a DonnyFL

Mixed up threads oopsie.

A Dreamline sounds like a good fit for getting back into the swing of things. I love my new fangled FXs but sometimes its nice to have something simple with less options. I keep going back to my non-regulated BSA/Gamos.

For sound reduction the newer DonnyFL Yokozuna have been reported by many here to be more quiet than the older models. The 0DB and STO brands are also highly regarded. But pretty much anything will improve a naked muzzle.
