I just purchased a Maverick from High Pressure Pneumatics in Harrison Michigan. Tom, the owner had it set up optimally for the FX 18.1 pellets and they did a great job. The gun shoots great out to 100 yards, so far. Thanks to Tom and his staff for great service.

The configuration is; 700 mm barrel, 580 cc bottle and I put an arm on it for a bipod which sits out toward the end of the bottle. I tried a Leupold 6.5 to 20 EFR scope on it at first but switched to an Element Helix today. It can clean an NRA 50 meter target set at 50 yards nicely. The 100 yard groups are 1 inch by 1 1/2 inch but that is more my poor wind reading skills then the rifle. I"m getting 160 shots but I refill at about 130 bar. Velocity is 927 to 929 from one chronograph and runs 890 to 900 over a different chronograph. I think the chronographs differ because of the lighting. So far so good with only 500 pellets through it.

Great snag on that one...was the last one he had!!! I bought a .30 cal VP Maverick from him a few weeks ago and a few others in recent months...Tom is a great guy to deal with and has a nice selection of guns and ammo!

Nice grab, I have been eyeing a Maverick for the last few weeks. Never knew there was another airgun shop in Michigan other than Precision Airguns that closed last year, I will have to check them out. Do they have a showroom where you can handle some guns? Lets see some targets from the Maverick
