Just a little HW77K love

Been rekindling the flame for my HW77K. It's wearing a new scope, sling and sling mounts. I've been practicing shooting offhand and from some trigger sticks standing at 25 yards. Just thought that I would share one of the things I've been doing with springers.

One of my beater old trunk gun 177 long 77s lost its ball bearing detent!

It is the second one I will have to fit a replacement ball bearing from the local bearing shop and hammer peen that replacement bsteel ball to keep that underlever latched in place!

What's up Weihrauch? 2x times already with a different HW77! First one was my daily use 77k.

The older stocks are certainly slimmer. Makes the gun feel a little lighter overall. And the MK1 and MK2 have hand cut checkering and a palm swell.

But the new stocks have laser cut checking which I find as sharp as hand cut, and a higher cheekpiece. They do work better with a scope in my experience. Plus they are ambi for the southpaw guys.

Both stocks have their perks. Don't feel shorted with either one.

You got good taste my brotha! Best springers ever made. It's even in the right caliber

Real good looking setup you have there.

Waiting for squirrel season with mine!

That’s a most excellent beauty you have there Chase! Wish I could get some squirrels or rabbits with mine. It’s all dialed in for 25 yards with the JSB 10.3s. What is your 77 shooting through it?
