"Ted"Love it, Mike! Thanks for the photos and results synopsis. I'm diggin' those Macs with the silver scopes and tubes. :)
Thanks Ted
I also love the looks of the silver on the rifles, and believe me, they shoot as well as they look!
We had 2 newcomers show up at the match..Jim and Graeme...both of them did quite well! Graeme used a S400 Air Arms MPR-FT rifle that he purchased from another member, and Jim went old school with a Benjamin Marauder and sand bags....not a bad showing for their first time here at the Ranch.
It's getting close to regional matches in Sept, so everyone is trying to put forth their best effort...and They are doing just that!!
Roger Lovitt has a new Lilja barrel thaat he has tuned for his rifle that is shooting the lights out...It's one Superb Shooter!!
LD has been working on rifles for the HV and LV classes and both are precise shooters.
Matt and Jim have both been tweaking their rifles, trying to extact all the precision they can out of the rifle...so far things look promising!
I will not be able to attend most of the matches scheduled for this year, so I have been working on the basics...breathing, holding still, learning to read the winds...etc I still have a long ways to understanding what a pellet can do in the wind, but by next year, I will be back to claim some trophies.
What will you be doing to get ready for the upcoming Events....practicing the speed silo on the Royale 400, or work on the long range?...though you don't need much practice with that part of your game.
Anyhow....Good luck! Have fun without me....cause next year I'm taking it back
