Events July 5 TEXtreme Bench-Rest Silhouette Match Announcement

Weather permitting, per our usual match schedule…

CORRECTION- Returning to our usual match schedule after some months deviating from it, per our usual match schedule, the July TEXtreme match will be Bench-Rest Silhouettes at Central Texas Rifle & Pistol Club on Saturday, July 5. The gate will open for practice about noon (pending departures of the rimfire BRS match shooters).

Our (airgunners) shooters meeting will commence about 1 PM. Cold beverages and bottled waters will be provided. Shooters may shoot multiple guns and/or classes.

The BRS rules are attached. Feel free to call for clarifications.

In fact I’ll close with a clarification related to how I started this announcement. “Weather permitting” in July might include HOT weather; especially if it seems the forecast might affect attendance too adversely. That being the case, I might send out an email RSVP on Friday, in order to make the weather call Friday evening.

With the best forecast (Weather Blue) showing virtually no chance of measurable precipitation expected during tomorrow's Bench_rest Silhouette match, and a high temperature in the upper SEVENTIES, it's on! Being an amateur meteorologist and prophet, I'd speculate winds might also be a bit less aggravating than usual .
