What a nice day !! Here we find ourself in late July where typical temps are upper 90's to the low 100* .... NOT TODAY !! where we start out in the mid 60's and by matches end low 80's ... Nice !
Tho said and being in typical IONE fashion the wind tho mild did show up about the time we got going. Todays challenge was the winds start stop, ebb and blow again ever so slightly different kept all on their toes needing to watch there wind flags or other near them, as if one was lax on this crucial item mis-reading the wind created missing the targets KZ hole.
Our MD gets on site @ 7:00 am to get the process of setting us started finding Chris K already there with block trailer already hitched up to his rig, damn what a great asset he is to the club.
We get about half the course set before others start rolling in. So with the extra help it gets finished up super quick. Today set up is a 62 shot having 3 targets on the offhand lane where one target could be taken as a kneeler.
15 lanes with two target per & 2 shots per target. Smallest was a 3/8" set at @ 10 1/2 yards and largest a full 2" at about 48 yards with two smaller targets out at the 55 yard limit.
With a previously known shooter arriving a tad late the crew has no issue with starting a tad late ( @ 10:00 ) and gets to hang out and practice or just socialize etc ...
A good ribbing ensues upon there arrival as what ? the dogs slept in too and several other witty tho loving comments ... then we're off and shooting shortly after our shooters safety meeting.

Course gets a speedy tear down with all present giving a helping hand !! Lunch was pinwheel sandwiches, chips, cookies and other munchies and refreshing drinks and water too,
So there it is being 18 shooters present of @ 35 shooters who rotate threw out the summer months. Always good friends sharing the enthusiasm of the FT game we play sharing stories and laughter every time we all get together ... just Love it !!
Until next month AUGUST 24th we shall all do it again, keep practiced, bring a friend along too perhaps.
