Hey guys new PCP owner here. I am an avid reloader and so I tend to be very picky. I have some tins of JSP EXACT JUMBO DIABOLO 22 CAL 15.89 GR. pellets. I am going through and picking out the deformed ones and am weighing them. I am coming up with quit a spread and maybe for pellets this is normal. So far after going through a 100 I have a spread of 15.7 through 16.1. Granted most fall in the 15.8 and 15.9 weights. Is this normal throughout the manufacturers?

Within the margin of error. I've been told that it's nominal +/- 0.1. My understanding is it won't make a huge difference at short ranges.

Actually, that is better than my normal experience. If you can keep them within +.015 at that weight you are doing really well and will never notice the difference down range shooting a pcp.

Welp I am a little farther along now and the spread has increased from 15.6 to 16.1. and am finding a few that are not concentric.

You will always find a few with bent skirts, poorly packed by a shipper is another cause for a lot of damage, thats why I buy all my pellets from one sorce, Pyramyd Air.

I've done 5 tins in the last 2 days and they range from 15.5 to 16.3
Majority of mine are 15.7 and 15.8 then the next biggest batch is 16.1

Sure seems like those in the 15.5 range and 16.3 range could result in the dreaded flier from the main group of average pellets. Would probably need to shoot them in a known order to look for such effect.
