JSB tins and sizing

Got my order of JSB’s today from PA. Packing was great. The .22- 15.89 are still in the old tins. I ordered 1 tin of 8.4-4.53 to try to get some 4.53 to try. In the past their quality on sizing has been less than desirable. Have checked for sizing and the whole tin had 7 that were 4.53 and 1 that was 4.54. The rest are 4.52 or 4.51 with the majority being 4.51. The tins are great. The sizing still sucks even though they shoot very well in my FWB 124.

I just got my .25 King heavies today and the normal packing foam was not around pellet tin and tin was damaged. I reached out to PA via return system about return/replacement, which I expect that they will make right. Under the crushed part of tin there are dipples under sticker that would indicate that pellets had smashed into lid. This is also the old style tin.

I expect a big sale on old stock lid tins within 6-12 months.

What you can expect is a shortage of sizes as they transition to the screw on tins. That’s been my experience
