JSB knock out. 22 slugs .217mm in BSA barrel 100 yards

Just tried lubed slugs of Jsb in my RAW HM1000X .22 with BSA barrel. Distance 100 yards.

Result is good even in 25km wind gusts.

940 fps both groups are 10 shots each.

I’m getting very similar results with a RAW modified by AZ using an FX liner. He fabed a barrel and moderator for me. I was shooting starlings this morning at about 65 yards. The slug hitting the bird was louder then the gun. Starlings are a challenging target. They don’t sit long. Often get behind a branch making a clear shot difficult . And of course distances vary and wind. It was dead calm and I killed 10 or 12 but I also missed more then I hit. Shooting paper is easier

This is a great tribute for me if my tuned and modified RAW is shooting as accurately as of AZ's tuned and modified RAW.

In my group wind gusts were from 25 km to a bit more.

It's the first time that I am happy with Knock out slugs. Previously I tried these slugs in Impact and couldn't get such results.

There’s something special about the BSA barrels . I’ve fitted one to a PP750 and it shoots everything great, pellets and slugs even with the choke.

That is external plenum that I have designed and installed for efficiency and more power

Tried some jsb slugs in same gun but at 915 fps.

Group opened up a bit.

Looks like 940 fps is better for accuracy.

Congrats, that's a very fine gun with great accuracy.

I love the .22 BSA barrel. Best in class for long-distance accuracy. Its stiffness makes it very suitable for floating as well as shrouded applications. And it loves many different pellet types.
