Being semi-wadcutters, they shed velocity quicker than the equivalent weight dome. They don't expand to any meaningful extent in live game so don't worry about trying to push them fast in hopes of getting them to open up. They will do decent damage anyway due to the geometry.
Maverick .30 1:22 compact loves them at 865ish. My Uragan .30 liked them 910-920ish. Also had them shoot amazing from an Impact .30 700mm STX superior 1:22 at 960ish.
The only way to know is to buy a few tins and give em a honest run. Im going to stay with my JSB Kings in .25, like Glock, perfection. And yeah, on my next pellet order I will get a few tins just to see in my two pcp rifles. If they dont work out I can use them for close in pesting.
I've shot them in .30 at 590 fps on the low end and 1000+ fps on the high end.
Generally they shoot pretty well but the domed JSBs will be slightly more accurate. I've shot them in .22 and .25 as well. The .22 Hades made for a nice ground hog head shot last week.
You'll have to experiment based on your particular gun what the best speed for them is. They're accurate enough and point of impact close enough to regular JSBs that these are my go to pellets for pesting around the house in any caliber.
