JSB Hades .22 in FX Impact Mk2

Hi brothers in arms,

I have .22 700 mm pellet liner in my FX Impact Mk2 and I'd like to start using Hades .22 pellets. Please, what are your experiences regarding muzzle velocity vs. accuracy with such gun/pellet setup?

I am used to shoot mostly to 50 meters (+/- 20 meters if required). The velocities used for .22 Hades in FX Impact vary from 850 to 930 fps, as I investigated already over the internet , which is quite a range in my opinion.

So please be so kind and share your setup. Thanks a lot in advance!

My son kills lots of squirrels with them from his gauntlet at about 950 fps. Higher velocity gives better expansion and drops the squirrels no matter where you hit them.

I was shooting some out of the slug liner on Friday. Shot great at 890 or so

Theyre accurate from 600 till almost 1000 i bet, very forgiving with speed.

I shoot the 18.1gn @890 and with the exact same setup the hades @ 930fps as laser Pellet liner A 700mm Hades IMO are good up to 70m over that groups starts to open. Hades are pretty accurate and I been even thought to use them in BenchRest competitions @25y (still need to make more tests)

Tested extensively in .22 from Edgun R5M, ran em from 750 to 1020 fps. They are very accurate up to around 960 fps out of this gun. Faster and they destabilize noticeably, like most pellets. I have not been able to run them longer than 70 yrds, which if I was hunting at longer distances I'd be packing a Nielsen anyhow. Currently running them at 940 fps. Very good pellet.

I shoot them out of my leshiy around 940fps with great accuracy (comparable to 18gr jumbos) out to 50 yards or so.
