Has anyone used the 22 hades in the original smooth twist barrel? Assuming being jsb lead they should work well just curious what smooth twist owners think that have shot them? Thanks in advance.

I've shot them in my Royale 400, and they did fine, as they are the same general diablo shaped pellet. I haven't found them to be as accurate as the standard JSB 16 and 18 gr pellets, but very adequate for hunting. That said, I didn't find them to offer any advantage in terminal performance, so I didn't shoot many od them. Others report a definite advantage with them, so I guess it depends on the specific shot. I consider all of them to offer minimum lethality, so shot placement trumps pellet design by a wide margin.

They work really well in a .22 Bobcat. As said above, not QUITE as accurate as JSB Jumbo heavy 18.13, but I like the terminal hit. Just a bit more authority. In my .25 Royale they're more accurate than ANY pellets.

They shot really well in a DreamPup 22 I had. That was the ONLY rifle that I’ve been able to shoot Hades with any sense of accuracy and repeatability. I had that rifle tuned way down to 765 for pesting inside dairy barns. It was an awesome combination.
