JSB Exact King Heavy 33.95 Weight Consistency

I just finished hand weighing two tins of JSB Exact King Heavy 33.95 pellets. As have many others based upon the posts in this forum, I find this to be one of the most consistent pellets, in terms of both POI and shooting very tight groups, especially beyond 50 yards from my AA S510 rifle. It also produces very good penetration and is a great hunting pellet.

For my purposes, I sort them into three lots: < 33.75, 33.75 to 34.15, and >34.15. After sorting two tins and as indicated in the photograph below, you can see that approximately 50% (center tin) fall within the +/- .2 grains tolerance I have established for my "go to" pellet when I find it critical for a sure hit shot or to shoot an extremely tight group. My experience indicates that the lower and higher weight pellets will shoot very well anyway.

Finally, note that the predominant variance is to the heavy side. I found the extreme range within the two tins to vary from 33.2 to 34.7.
