Has anyone confirmed if any of those pellets is more accurate at long distance?
You should go with whichever one is the most accurate in your gun. The BCs are close enough that it doesn't make a measurable difference. When I actually measured them at 100 yards in my old Bobcat, the 44.75 were 0.042 and the 50.1 were 0.046. Very close... In my .30 Bobcat, the 44.75 were very slightly more accurate than the 50.1. However, I'd get an occasional flyer from the 50.1 and never got a flyer from the 44.75.

I have notice some flyers out of my Vulcan 3 with the 50.1
But I have just some shots with it and I do not trust yet my own experience.
I have been shooting at about 80 yards.
I have not sort at all the pellets. I took them out of the tin and load the magazine as they came out.
I never sort pellets. I never compete with anyone except myself.
